About 'Club Hub'

The LIBC 'Club Hub' acts as a link for bowls clubs to access the biggest stars in the sport for cameo pennant games, tournament appearances, clinics, events & more.   We make engaging and hiring a star simple and provide free additional tools and resources that clubs can use to make your event the ultimate success.

LIBC is Not-For-Profit, meaning that no additional costs like agent fees are charged at all.  Whilst LIBC do charge nominal sums for optional marketing assistance all money goes back into the running of the Launceston International Bowls Classic event which is well known for its benefits to charity and opportunities it creates for many bowlers & different stakeholders.

The popular Northern Irishman is one of the genuine nice guys in International Bowls & is currently one of the best bowlers in the world. 

 

Gary boasts Commonwealth Games medals and World Championship victories amongst a host of other achievements, but it is his love of the game, friendly nature and approachability that makes Gary the perfect star to host at your club pennant game, tournament or sportsman's night.  

Gary is a well respected, in-demand player and host, lending his competitive skills, voice and insights into the game of bowls at the highest level.

The highly rated Jackaroo is already one the best players Australia has ever produced and is a prolific winner all over the country and Internationally. 

A naturally gifted and instinctive player, Corey brings a wealth of competitive experience to any occasion.

Corey loves to travel and meet new people and has a fantastic and unrivalled insight into the game.  

 

With Corey's skill, he has proven to be a valuable addition to any event and works very well with other stars.

kevin anderson

Well known as one the most entertaining and humorous characters in the game. If it’s fun and laughter you want then Kevin fits the bill.

 

Kevin is a highly talented bowler and a fierce competitor but it’s his skills as a speaker that sets him apart.  Kevin works great with other stars and is the perfect host for any club event.

Cass millerick

Cass Millerick is a current Australian Representative and one of the most in-form female bowlers in the country with wins in the Australian Open Singles and BPL17.

 

Aside from being one of the best bowlers in the business, Cass is one of the kindest natured and approachable persons you could ever meet.  Always wearing a smile, the loveable girl from Moama mixes with anyone and everyone and loves to help people with her tremendous knowledge of the game and likeable demeanour.

The legendary Northern Irishman has achieved major success in the sport winning two gold medals in the World Outdoor Bowls Championship and three Commonwealth Games medals.

 

Henry emigrated to Australia where he resides and plays for Warilla and has been capped by Australia in addition to hundreds of caps in his native homeland of Ireland.

 

One of the most accomplished bowlers in the modern era, Jezza is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the game and is regarded as one the all time greats.

 

Jezza is a fan favourite and is loveable character which makes him a great addition to any occasion.

The loveable Canadian is one of the most recognisable bowlers in the world and is etched in history as one of the greatest players of all time. 

 

Ryan has won all over the world and is a lethal weapon with his never give up attituded and lethal drive!

 

One of the most highly credentialled athletes in the world, Ryan is a great addition to any event and is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

Aaron is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and competitive bowlers in the world and is an excitement machine on the green. 

 

Teys has established himself as a proven performer in the international stage as a current jackaroo and has racked up over 200 appearances in the green and gold and counting! 

 

Aaron is a highly gifted athlete and has much to offer both on and off the green with his knockabout nature and passion for the game.

kelvin kerkow oam

Kelvin Kerkow.png

Kelvin Kerkow OAM is one of the greatest bowlers in Australia’s long history and his story of how he reached the top of the bowling world in the face of extreme adversity is the stuff of legends.

 

Born in Kingaroy, Queensland in 1969, at the age of 7 Kelvin contracted Guillain–Barré syndrome which led to him being unable to walk for several years.  His parents, Ivan and Joan introduced him to bowls when he was unable to play contact sports due to his limited mobility.

 

The rest is history, reaching the pinnacle of an unbelievable career with a Gold Medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games where he famously ripped his shirt off and was carried off the arena draped in the Australian Flag.

 

Kelvin is a friendly and caring person who is a quality speaker with decades of knowledge and his story makes him the perfect star at any event. 

mark casey oam

Mark Casey OAM brings with him an exceptional knowledge of the game and is an accomplished speaker on all facets of the game.

 

Mark progressed through the ranks to become one of the most highly decorated Australian representatives amassing 292 games highlighted by a Gold Medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, a Silver Medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games & three World Championship Golds.

 

In addition to his remarkable achievements, Mark is an accomplished administrator in the game and was recognised for his contributions to bowls being awarded the Order of Australia Medal & is an inductee in the Bowls Australia Hall of Fame.  Mark is a very likeable bloke and has much to offer to any event.

Boasting a playing career that has consisted of 69 international appearances and counting, Ben Twist is one of the most well-known bowlers in the country and is widely respected for his passion for coaching and his ability to nurture up and coming talent.

 

In addition to a wonderful ongoing playing career, Ben has completed extensive study across sports management and leadership along with his qualification as a Bowls Australia Advanced Coach, and brings a wealth of knowledge to any event or occasion.

 

Another pleasant natured bloke, Ben is a great addition to any club event especially in areas of coaching, motivation and leadership.

Brianna Smith has enjoyed a stellar start to what is sure to be a long career in the Green & Gold. 

 

A prolific winner at under 18 level with two gold’s and a silver in her junior years, Brianna has now progressed to the Australian Jackaroo squad and heads a wave of new talent in the sport.

 

Brianna is heavily involved in junior coaching at St John’s Park Bowls Club in Sydney and is a much loved and respected top class bowler who loves to meet new people and get involved in the game and impart her knowledge and experience.
